Feeling completely overwhelmed?

Sep 18, 2025

Hello, Happy Human! 👋

We're here with our weekly 3 things...

1️⃣ A question from our community

2️⃣ Our actionable tips

3️⃣ A resource from our toolkit

1. The question

"I feel completely overwhelmed with meals, laundry, schedules, meltdowns and just managing everyone else’s feelings without having any real time to manage my own. Honestly, once the kids are finally at school, all I want to do is crawl back into bed, and I know I can’t, but I feel like I’m drowning and don’t think I can keep going like this.”

2. Our answer

Oh friend… we hear this one loud and clear.

You are NOT alone. Most of us are out here trying to break generational cycles in this chaotic world with far less support than any generation has had before us.

So yeah, it makes sense that you feel like you’re drowning. Long story short… our nervous systems just weren’t designed to carry this much weight.

And here’s what makes it all SO much worse…

When you’re this overwhelmed, your brain is just going to keep scanning for ALL of the problems around you. You get tunnel vision and hyperfocus on the messy kitchen, laundry pile, the sibling fighting, the never-ending to-do list, the bills, the tension with your partner… and before you even move to take action, your brain has already convinced itself that it’s impossible. That you’ll never get ahead of it all.

So here’s the shift…

➡️ Stop staring at the horizon.

You do NOT have to have all of the answers and do NOT need to fix everything right now. You just have to take the next step.

So when you feel yourself start to spiral like this… you have to intentionally pause.

Take your eyes off of that overwhelming horizon and just look down at your own two feet.

👉 What’s the ONE next thing you can do?

NOT 10 things and NOT the whole day… literally just the very next step.

Maybe it’s wash one dish. Step outside and breathe for 30 seconds. Write one email. Text a friend. Change the load of laundry.

And once you’ve done that… ask again. What’s my next right step?

We will never be able to teleport ourselves to the finish line where all of our challenges and problems are behind us. We are simply at where we’re at.

But step by step, moment by moment, we CAN move forward.

And those small steps, stacked up over time, WILL get you to where you’re trying to go.

It’s never going to be an overnight fix, but small intentional steps forward will eventually get you through this incredibly challenging season of life.

You CAN keep taking those small intentional steps forward.

So right now, ask yourself…

👉 What’s ONE small step I can take?

And if you’re ever looking for more support…

3. From our toolkit

We built our 12-Week Family Reset Program to help parents shift from that sense of overwhelming chaos to regulating calm.

At the heart of our program is the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), a powerful, science-backed listening therapy that’ll gently retune your nervous system to alleviate symptoms of:

👉 Anxiety

👉 Depression

👉 ADHD

👉 Trauma, and more

Our program is going to help you regulate your nervous system from the inside out so you can shift out of survival mode and start feeling like yourself again.

We’ve watched parents come in burnt out, chaotic, and stuck… but leave feeling steady, connected, and full of hope.

💬 “I won’t lie, I was skeptical, but the changes have been absolutely WILD. This program should be mandatory for every parent.”
–Jamie

We’ve got a couple spots opening up over the next few weeks as current clients wrap up, so if you’re interested in learning more…

👉 Use this link to see how our 12-Week Reset can help you turn it all around.

This just may be the next right step that you and your family need.

We’re here if you have any questions.
